Following the April 2015 earthquakes and aftershocks of Nepal, on-the-ground aid workers and their local connections are busy at work to restore and rebuild what was lost in the Southwest of Kathmandu. The aftermath has presented ongoing challenges of shock, heartache, succeeding tremours, building restrictions, logistical roadblocks and political restraints. Despite these adversities, a sturdy foundation is being laid, not only of bricks and mortar but also of compassion and solidarity.

• Immediate food and cooking essentials (rice, lentils, oil, cooking gas)
• Water (purifying tablets, storage tanks, water containers)
• Shelter (bamboo, tarp, plastic, mats)
• First aid supplies and medical assistance
• Trauma counselling
