Aviation services
Uganda
In Uganda, Remnant conflict and human rights abuses from the Lord’s Resistance Army continue to taunt at the diminished capacity of basic services and a crippled healthcare system. Torture is widespread amongst security organisations, and child trafficking for sex and forced labour is painfully prevalent. Geographic inaccessibility, lack of transport and financial burdens have been identified as reasons why progress lags behind national policy targets and development goals
Amidst these challenges, many lives have been saved and communities assisted owing to the invaluable work of our aviation partner which provides air transport services to remote regions of Uganda. They facilitate development and emergency relief through the delivery of resources and personnel where ground travel is not viable due to compromised safety, reliability or speed.
Having the luxury of air travel enables more regular access to a greater sphere of influence. This permits a wide range of beneficiary agencies to monitor their activities and make more informed decisions.
