For many years the residents of a remote village in Indonesia have been walking across rugged terrain to collect water from a natural spring.    The return journey presents a burdensome and time-consuming test of endurance as the water load must be carried up a steep mountain face from sea level.

As locals have expressed the desire for improved water accessibility, their wish is coming true through the delivery of 3 water tanks, a 3.5km pipeline and individual household connection.  Not only does this alleviate the daily toil of water collection, but also guarantees higher standards of health and sanitation by improved filtration.
