Nepal Earthquake Emergency

In response to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which shook Nepal to the ground, this project will implement two separate phases of assistance:

  • Short-term relief: immediate provisions of food, safe water, medical care and temporary shelter are being directed to remote rural communities.  In collaboration with local health workers and government authorities, healthcare and preventative measures such as water purification and sanitation are channeled according to a needs analysis.
  • Mid-term recovery: assistance with rebuilding infrastructure including health posts, schools and water supplies will be undertaken in due time. 

Key Areas of Expenditure:

  • Food, water, medical care, shelter and sanitation supplies
  • Materials and logistical necessities for redevelopment
